Our Mission
Plant the Future Designs is rethinking the philosophy around landscape design. The world is changing, and your outdoor home environment should change with it. We take sustainability a step further to create regenerative and resilient designs that enhance your landscape using permaculture ethics and principals.
Our Services
We offer a $50 consultation that includes a hand drawn design sketch, element ideas, and a short plant list. Then we take an in-depth survey of your property including soil samples, microclimate analysis, and much more, to create a comprehensive design that enhances existing conditions
What is Permaculture
Permaculture is a philosophy of land management that takes sustainability a step further to regeneration, resilience, and creating a closed loop cycle.
Our goal is to not just maintain balance in an ecosystem, but to improve the ecosystem. This means building a healthy, living soil, maximizing water efficiency, and plant synergy.
We assess potential threats to a site and create designs that defend against these threats to create a resilient landscape.
A closed loop system minimizes waste and reduces the amount of additional resources needed. This can look like composting your food scraps to use as soil amendment instead of throwing them away and needing to buy chemical fertilizer for your garden.
When we select plants, each plant will serve at least 3 purposes in the environment. This can range from adding color and beauty to the landscape, to producing food for you and your family, to working synergistically with other plants and everything in between.
